My work takes concern for environmental and sustainability issues. As fast fashion monopolizes global trend and damaging the environment, slow fashion silently arises to propose a new way of life and slowly revert the environment to how it used to be. Focused on the maximization utility of unused and broken iron waste as a natural dye and combined with natural acid, this artwork produced an unexpected range of colors. It also created a unique visualization of the pattern made with the Shibori technique. This artwork represents the new alternative way of mineral dyeing to support slow fashion.
