This course studies the fashion trends of the last two centuries by examining important events from decade to decade. These critical events can take the form of social, political, economic, cultural, technological, and environmental issues, which significantly impact fashion trends and people's lifestyles. Students will conduct in-depth research on several vital developments in world fashion trends such as fast fashion, sustainable fashion, and intelligent fashion. This research will equip students to predict future fashion trends based on current issues in their portfolio design process.
