Ceramic Craft Studio III (Lifestyle & Tradition)

This course motivates the students to explore a traditional value of the nation and turn it into a research theme. The research may be interdisciplinary, using ceramic as the main material. Students are required to explore a conservational attempt of culture and tradition through craftwork. The source of the idea should also respond to society's current trends and tendencies. Collaboration among materials may become part of the concept of the work. Cultural research and survey are essential in determining the references for the work's characters. The intensity of the comprehension of the explored themes and adequate skills are emphasized in this course.
