Tattoo or rajah or tedak are one of the essential body decoration cultures in the life of the Dayak community, especially the Kayan Dayak women. Tattoos with those patterns are believed to seep into the bones that have them and become the light of their journey in the afterlife to heaven, where their ancestors were.
