Textile Craft Studio III (Indigenous Fiber & Natural Dyes)

This course focuses more on knowledge of textile materials originating from nature and the comprehension of indigenous materials, which cover natural fibers and natural dyes. Natural fiber gives basic knowledge on top industries, covering fibers based on standard classification, historical background, terminology, standardization, function, characteristics, and data of excellent producers. Focusing on comprehension of the position of textile craft designers within the frame of multidisciplinary activities, so the students understand the interrelation and interaction of several disciplines within the context of integrated design.
