Arrietty is a young and tiny fictional character who lives in the recesses of a suburban home, unbeknown to the homeowner. Her ventures forth from beneath the floorboards to gain supplies for living into the main house inspires the composition of this artwork, a curvy corn husk as a representation of Arrietty's obstacle to survive. The colors are generated through boiling with acid and base substance before the coloring process, and curvy shape of the corn husks are done by gluing each husk.
